Yesterday she was working at her father's Ocean County College, as part of the Visiting Writer's Reading Series. She was attending with Neal LaBute, to perform some of his monologues and discuss the craft of bringing his characters to life on stage. So what has our dear Piper Perabo been up to since we have been busy handing over? Well, after she finished Broadway, she apparently took some time off to enjoy the summer (according to rzot on the forum who was lucky enough to meet her after one of her last shows - we're all so envious!), although we suspect she was secretly attending auditions as she has since been chosen as the lead for a new spy thriller "Covert Affairs" which has been given the green light for its pilot on USA network. Piper plays Annie Walker, a CIA trainee who excels at everything she does (sounds familiar!). The character has exceptional linguistic skills, speaking 6 languages - thats some serious homework Piper! Annie is promoted to headquarters for what she believes is the result of her talents but there is something or someone from her past her CIA bosses are really after. Working alongside her will be Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty) as her assistant and Anne Dudek as her sister. USA network is seen in over 98.5 million US homes so we predict even more Piper fans in the making once she hits primetime TV screens. We wish you loads of luck Piper!! xxx

Hi guys. As you know Losti has left us physically (she's still with us and is looking sometimes :) and is going off to embark on her career, of which we all wish her loads of luck. There was concerns that this page and website would have to close but we have good news for you. Bart is still happy to run the technical side (and's working on some technical features) and I am more than happy to take over from Losti to run the admin and content side of things - so this page is not only staying put, but will hopefully get up and running again with all the latest news from Piper, on a regular basis once more! I've been on the forum this year so most of you have already heard of me, but for those that haven't I'm known as Shortypants (real name Diane) and am here to make this page fab again!! I think we will all agree its the best Piper website there is and we hope to make it even better! Hope to see you all on here loads again, Shortypants & Bart xxx

You may have noticed, that we haven't posted any news the last few weeks. Now we have to tell you, that we're going to close this page. The reason are some occupational changes which means, that we haven't got enough time to take care of the page. Bart is busy with tons of other projects and I - Losti - am going to study filmproduction at the filmacademy from October on and will start to shoot my first movie this August. We wanna thank YOU for the last two years. It was so much fun creating this page, taking care of it and meeting great people! And of course a big "THANK YOU" to Piper Perabo. For the fun, the inspiration and the joy she brought to us and will surely keep on bringing with her movies!

Piper Perabo finally made it! Reasons to be pretty is on Broadway now. Here are some pictures of the Reasons to be pretty Broadway opening night. And as if this was not enough Piper Perabo will also be nominated for "Supporting Actress in a Play" for the Tony Awards ! More to come ;-)

Here it is: Our second Piper Perabo prize draw! In cooperation with Splendid Entertainment we´re drawing three DVDs of The Lazarus Project. Thanks again to Splendid Entertainment! If you want to be one of three lucky winners, here´s what you have to do: The Lazarus Project is about a man who has lost something. Here you find some sentences about Piper Perabo and her life. But just like in The Lazarus Project we´ve also lost something, or rather, we´ve lost some words. You´ve got to find the missing parts and remember the words. Then take the words and complete the sentences at the end. You´ve got questions? Feel free to ask A little hint: You can find all the answers on our pages! First of all: Sorry for the lack of news. It was just a busy time...... There´s a new interview with Piper Perabo. There she mainly talks about Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Also, tickets for Reasons to be pretty are out for sale now. Previews will begin on March 13 at the Lyceum Theatre. One last thing: Our second Piper Perabo prize draw will start on February the 1st. So: Watch out! :-)
